Main Content: RCCA Desmond and Yen Wei led an ordinary family life, with Desmond as the breadwinner and Yen Wei as the homemaker. Gradually, they yearned for more time freedom. Desmond's demanding job deprived him of spending time with his family. "For 18 years, I was busy climbing the corporate ladder - from engineer to the managerial level. I worked 12 hours daily, 6 days a week. Yes, I was earning a decent income, but at the expense of family time."
Yen Wei too wanted a change, where they could both make plans according to their time and not based on Desmond's hectic work schedule.
Starting Afresh
Yen Wei ran a gift shop for 4 years. After their first child was born, she sold the shop and became a full-time homemaker. Several years ago, when Yen Wei had some free time while the kids were at school, she took up a course in dietetics and nutrition. After earning her diploma, she thought about starting a business selling organic and health products. At the same time, they were introduced to BE and Aulora Pants. Desmond encouraged her to take up this business instead.
It didn't take long for Desmond to resign and join Yen Wei in the BE business full-time. Desmond said, "Tony Robbins quoted, 'If you want to take the island, burn your boat.' BE was obviously the platform that will offer us the time freedom we were yearning for. The decision (to resign) was easy."
The Change
Initially, Desmond was attracted by the power of exponential growth in network marketing, but along the way, he was inspired by gratitude and family culture. "The BE system education could be applied in our personal lives."
For Yen Wei, BE has transformed her into an optimistic person. "I used to be easily influenced by circumstances and tended to be negative. The old me would have been badly affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. I would have been worried about everything. Thankfully, BE has turned me into a confident and positive person."
Desmond continued, "Our lives have changed completely. We are now the master of our time. We do what we love, and we love what we do. It's wonderful being able to help people regain their health and succeed. BE truly fulfils its promise of BEyond Inspiring Mind, Touching Lives for Eternity."
Choose Wisely - Choose the Time
Desmond and Yen Wei both lost their fathers to cancer. "When I lost my father, I realised that life is unpredictable, health is priceless and the most important thing in life is time. Once it's gone, it never returns," Desmond said. "So, make a wise choice and go all out. You really don't want to sit there when you're 55 and wish you had done it. That'd be too late!"
Yen Wei added, "The best investment you can make on is health. When you invest in health, you'll be on your way to your dream life."
